General Questions & Online Booking Questions

Are the treatments completely confidential?

Yes, of course. We never disclose information about you or your treatments to any third party. You can be completely sure that your privacy will be handled with the utmost respect.

I'm nervous about coming. Will the team at the clinic understand?

Yes most people on their first visit are apprehensive; if you feel especially nervous, it is best to tell us beforehand. Please remember you are under no obligation to have any treatment done on the same day. You can just come for a chat at your consultation and then take things at your own pace.

Will it hurt?

Most treatments are relatively painless but you may feel a small amount of discomfort. We use a local anaesthetic where necessary to minimise any minor discomfort.

Are the treatments expensive?

Not as expensive as you might think! Each treatment is priced individually. We also offer special discounts on some treatments if you book a series of treatments. We also offer the ability to spread the cost of your treatment over a year, at 0% interest. Travel discounts are also available for visitors coming from the mainland to the clinic. If you would like to see Dr Jilani, a consultation fee of £40 is charged but is redeemable against your first treatment.

How do I pay for treatments?

We accept all major credit and debit cards. We also accept cash payment. We also offer 0% interest finance plans – please ask us for details when you book your appointment.

Do I have to stay overnight?

No, all treatments are as an outpatient so you will be able to go home the same day. Some procedures will require some aftercare but we will inform you at the time and book any follow up appointments with you.

How long does a treatment take?

This will depend on the type of treatment you have chosen. Most treatments are completed fairly quickly.

Am I insured?

We are fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes and they can enjoy a refreshment whilst they wait for you.

Can I bring children to the clinic?

Due to the medical environment we request you not to bring small children. We ask you to be aware that childen must be supervised at all times. Our staff cannot be held responsible for them in the clinic environment.

Can I park nearby?

Yes, Clients are permitted free use of St Marks church car park which is 1 mins walk situated on the opposite side of the road.
You may also be able to find parking along the road.

If I have to cancel my appointment, how much notice does the clinic need?

We would appreciate if you could give us a minimum of 48 hours notice. This will enable someone else to take your appointment.

If I come for a consultation, can I have treatment at the same time?

Some treatments can be performed at the time of your appointment, but for others you will need to make an additional appointment. You will be advised when you make your booking.

I want to keep my visit very private, will I have to meet other clients?

We can accommodate your wishes and if you inform us beforehand, we can do our utmost to be very discreet.

Are you open weekends?

The clinic is open Monday between 10am-2pm, Tuesday between 11am-3pm, Wednesday between 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-6pm. The Clinic is closed on Thursday and on the weekends.

I'm coming from the mainland, how do I get to the clinic?

If travelling by car there is regular ferries leaving Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington, or if travelling by foot, regular foot passenger services from Portsmouth and Southampton, as well as a Hovercraft service running from Southsea.

Can I reschedule my appointment through the website?

Yes, simply login with your account details and click on the “My appointments” link. You will be able to see a list of your appointments, and if available, you will have options to reschedule your appointment. You can only reschedule appointments online 2 days before the appointment date.
